The Art of Exploitation (AoE) curriculum provides focused
training to aspiring cyber experts. Students will learn and experience offensive
Computer Network Operations (CNO) in a safe and reliable environment. AoE
allows students to choose a field of study that will build on and advance the knowledge
and skills needed to be successful in their chosen career paths.
AoE was created in 2006 by Solvern Innovations, a small organization that understood the need for hands-on operational
training in the field of Computer Network Operations. In November of 2009, Solvern joined TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS),
a world leader in highly reliable and secure mobile communication technology, and became TCS Cyber Intelligence Group. Our curriculum
and team of experts continue to grow and evolve along with the demand for cyber security training.
Provide essential, comprehensive cyber security training that is respected, relevant, and student focused.
Earn College Credit
The American Council on Education College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT®) has evaluated
and recommended college credit for eight of the AoE courses:
ACE CREDIT helps adults gain academic credit for courses and examinations taken outside traditional degree programs. More than 2,000 colleges and universities consider ACE CREDIT
recommendations in determining the applicability to their course and degree programs. As a result of the recommendations for the AoE courses, students completing any of these could
receive two to three semester hours of academic credit toward a degree.
ACE is the major coordinating body for the nation's higher education institutions and seeks to provide leadership and a unifying voice on key higher education issues and to
influence public policy through advocacy, research, and program initiatives. For more than 30 years, colleges and universities have trusted ACE CREDIT to provide reliable course
equivalency information to facilitate their decisions to award academic credit. For more information, visit the ACE CREDIT website at www.acenet.edu/credit
Performance Based Learning
Student’s retention and application of skills learned will be tested in a simulated real-time environment.
Performance Based Testing
In order to assess whether a student is meeting specific skills contained in course learning objectives, AoE has integrated
PerformanScore™, a learning and development tool used to
measure and validate cyber skills and abilities against job role competencies. This will enhance the professional feedback for students who
want to identify areas of skill improvement and to confirm levels of achievement.
